  • Dr.
    Donald C. Hansen

    Dr. Donald C. Hansen graduated from Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1973.  After practicing in Madison, MN for a year, he returned home to practice in Shelby and has been here ever since. He lives on his family farm in rural Avoca, IA where he and his wife Cindy raise Thoroughbreds.  His son Adam graduated from Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine and now works at the clinic.  His daughter Vanessa was also a graduate of Iowa State University and now resides in Boise, Idaho.

    Adam C. Hansen

    Dr. Adam C Hansen graduated from Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine in May 2010.  He is a 2001 graduate of AHST in Avoca and also received a B.S. in Animal Science in 2005 from Iowa State University.  His interests include bovine production medicine and surgery, small animal medicine and surgery as well as equine medicine with an emphasis in equine dentistry.  He resides with his wife Tammy in Avoca, IA.  They have four children Ethan, Elayna, Everett and Ella.

    Brandi L. Huddle

    Dr. Brandi L. Huddle graduated from Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine in May 2008.  She is a 2000 graduate of Tri-Center High School and also received a B.S. in Animal Science in 2004 from Iowa State University.  Her interests include small and large animal medicine and surgery.  She resides in Panama, IA with her husband Chuck and son Charles.

    Mike D. Bladt

    Dr. Mike D. Bladt graduated from Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine in May 2013.  He is a 2005 graduate of AHST in Avoca and also received a B.S. in Biology in 2009 from Iowa State University.  His interest include medicine, surgery and reproductive management within all species.  Mike resides in Underwood, Ia with his wife Kristen and their son Weston.  

  • Dr. Clayton McGargill
    Veterinarian

    Dr. Clayton A. McGargill graduated from Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2011.  He has been in mixed animal practice in southwest Iowa since graduation and is originally from Imogene, IA.  His interests include bovine medicine and surgery in all species.  Dr. Clay enjoys playing guitar & banjo in the family band, playing cards and other games, football, and spending time with family & friends. He currently resides outside of Neola with his wife Paulina and daughter Mariela.
